KEITH R. JACQUES

Keith graduated from Dartmouth College with honors in 1981. While attending
Dartmouth, he was named a Rufus Choate Scholar. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1984, where he was an Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.

Keith's law practice is diverse. As a civil trial lawyer for over 25 years, he has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial cases, personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, business and contract disputes. He has represented individuals, small businesses and large companies in a wide variety of commercial matters and frequently is asked to mediate civil disputes. He serves as City Solicitor for the City of Biddeford.

Recently, the National Collegiate Athletic Association named Keith as the Public Sector Member of the Division III Committee on Infractions. He also has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2010 edition of New England Super Lawyers, an honor limited to the top 5% of lawyers in each state. He also has been selected as one of Maine's Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association.

A lifelong resident of Maine, Keith also is very active in many legal and community organizations. He was elected to the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association. He is a Trustee of the University of New England and a Director and Corporator at Biddeford Savings Bank. He is a Corporator at Sweetser Childrens Services. His many other community leadership positions include past President of the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club and the Northern York County YMCA.

Keith is an avid sailor. He also enjoys skiing, golf and coaching youth sports. Keith lives in Saco, Maine with his wife Kathleen and their three children.
